It comes with its own built-in maisture barrier - liquids are blocked by the moisture barrier, preventing leakage into the attached pad. This eliminates mold and mildew buildup and associated odors.
Panels stay in place with TractionBack™ Glueless Installation, which protects the subfloor and allows for easy replacement of panels.

Are the seams visible?
Immediately after installation some seams may be visible. With proper installation, the removal of trapped yarns, and vacuuming, they will become barely noticable, creating a clean, smooth look throughout. The longer it's on the floor, the better it will look!
How do the panels stay put?

Where can I use the carpet panels?
Tesserae panels can be installed over any clean, smooth, and dry surface. Should your flooring have any loose area, surface cracks, or holes, these should be repaired to insure a clean, smooth, dry surface.
